For the dogs who make our lives
bigger.
The greeting at the door. The head in your lap. The walk that turned your whole day around.
They give us the whole-body welcome home. We give them new trails, fresh smells, and people who think they’re wonderful. Hike Doggie makes that outdoor time easier to fit into your life.

Kath Allen founded Hike Doggie in Colorado in 2016, bringing together her love of animals, the outdoors, and working with people.
Here’s the story in her own words.

A Colorado beginning.
A growing doggie gang.
A growing doggie gang.
Before Hike Doggie, Kath’s career took her through sales and account management. Her next chapter took her outside.
What began in Colorado grew into a service built around the whole hike day: picking dogs up at home, taking them out with a hiker, and returning them with an adventure to show for it.
In 2024, Hike Doggie began franchising. Local owners now bring the experience to their own communities, with their own crews and their own love for the outdoors.
The scenery changes. The reason we’re here stays wonderfully simple: we love seeing dogs enjoy themselves.

Today
There’s a dog at the center of every decision.
Their experience matters.
We want hike day to be something a dog can comfortably enjoy, from the ride to the trail and back.
People make the difference.
Knowing when to pause for water. Noticing a change in pace. Learning what makes those ears perk up. Our people pay attention.
Trust is earned in the details.
A thoughtful introduction. Clear communication. Care for the dog someone has trusted us with.
Your local dog people, with a bigger pack behind them.
Our local teams get to know the dogs and families they serve. Hike Doggie provides the shared brand, training, and support behind the service.
That means you can get to know the people nearby while being part of the wider Hike Doggie family.
