Before Hike Doggie, Barrett Marcum spent 13 years working in veterinary care, from kennel work to leadership. Today, he brings that experience and his love of the outdoors to the dogs of Denver South.
Alongside him are the hikers getting to know your pup, leading the outings, and sharing the day’s stories. We’d love to meet you both.

We meet new dogs before they join, consider their comfort and temperament, and keep our outings on leash. Our limit is four dogs per hiker.
We’ll explain transport, home access, and how we communicate, so you know what to expect before the first pickup.
Let’s make sure it’s their kind of outing.
Group hikers need to be comfortable with other dogs and trail users, well mannered on leash, relaxed during transport, and up to date with our health requirements.
We’ll start with a call, then arrange a Get To Know visit at your home. If we’re a good match, we’ll agree on a regular schedule.

Do I need to be home for pickup?
Once we’ve met and arranged access, you don’t need to be home for regular outings. We’ll agree on the pickup and return details before the first hike.
